WE are a TEAM
It's hard to have a page about any one individual, when it comes to who 16 Mile Outfitting really is. We really are a working collaboration of outfitter, landowners, hunters, anglers and guides. Everyone has to be on the same page to make our goals come together. The landowner has to have a vision of what they want for the property and the wildlife. As the outfitter, we help bring that vision to light and allow the hunters and anglers to be a part of that. It really is a reward to see it all come together. The landowners get to see a vision come together and the hunters get to see how they play such an important role in the whole process. 16 Mile Outfitting is just honored to be a part of seeing everyones dreams come to reality.
Eric Christophersen
Outfitter
Eric began guiding hunters and anglers in 2006. He knew immediately that guiding was what he was meant to do with his life. He loves to share his passion about the outdoors and wildlife with other people. As a fourth generation Montanan, hunting and fishing is second nature. Eric has guided in Montana and Alaska and has shared hundreds of memories with so many great clients. Through guiding and seeing the efforts of managing the wildlife, Eric has taken a more active role in doing what is best for the wildlife and the land. Eric believes the hunt is about more than just the harvest and works at showing the hunters what kind of role they are playing in the grand scheme of things.
The Roots
Sometimes we have to go back to our roots, and that is exactly how 16 Mile Outfitting came to be. In 2006, Eric began guiding on 16 Mile Creek and the Bar None Ranch. We found no better way to honor that relationship, then to create 16 Mile Outfitting.
