These bear hunts take place on a 23,000 acre ranch during the month of May. This is the perfect time of year to catch these bears as they have come out of the den and the hides are prime.  2021 was the first year these hunts were held on this ranch in 30+ years.  To say the ranch has a healthy bear population, would be an understatement.  Multiple bear sightings per day are the norm.  The ranch is also known for a lot of color phase black bears, with over half the bears seen being a color phase bear.  This is a spot and stalk hunt for these bears.

This hunt is a 5 day fully guided hunt with meals and lodging at the ranches log home.   Hunt cost includes transportation to and from the ranch, as well as all in field transportation.  Hunter is responsible for license cost, taxidermy and meat processing. Bear licenses are over the counter for both resident and non-resident hunters.
